The Lower Yough is 7.5 miles of class III and IV white water in Ohiopyle State Park. The put-in is located right in Ohiopyle, next to the check-in booth. From there you will raft down to Bruner Run, unless you decide to run the Loop only. This section of river is one of the most rafted rivers east of the Mississippi, and for good reason. The Lower Yough's rapids are easy enough for beginners, yet won't bore experienced rafters. Within three hours drive from many major cities, the Lower Yough is a great white water rafting river in Ohiopyle.

Prices for these trips can range anywhere from $40-$80 per person depending on the day of the week and the month. The summer months and weekends tend to have higher prices. If you are looking for a bargain, try rafting in the spring or fall. Prices tend to be cheaper and the crowds are not there in mass.
